True, indeed, my semi-absence has much to do with my ongoing battle spending any time at all on a screen and keyboard. The Law of Inequivalent Exchange being a thing, we also at last have parted with our dog of over a year. That transition has been, as you might imagine, about as disorienting as the full moon.

But here’s the real thing, Elon. I am finding myself compelled more and more to make choices and do things not only on the basis of how close they are to me in geography, but also how close to me they are in time. That which is local is most often that which helps today. That, I am choosing more often. That which far away might help some day maybe, I am declining to give space in my life to.

Sadly, that means Earth.

Earth isn’t gone. Earth will refuse to go away.

At the same time I’m launching a new, intentional campaign to garner larger digital footprints on both Twitter and Tiktok. Consider yourself invited to help me take on the Machine.
