Religion exists to actualize order, fertility and life in a world ever-imperiled by chaos, sterility and death.

Jesus comes with healing.
After his Baptism in the stead of sinners, the King goes before his people, changing their sorrows into gloom.
This weekend, we have one of the very few Sundays in an extremely short Epiphany. (Ash Wed IS Valentine’s Day!) So, our Season of Light will be a flash.
Look! Jesus comes with healing.
It is still true today. Jesus comes to heal.
There will always be thorns in the ground. There will always be snares and pains. But the Savior is the Savior.
Jesus saves.
Call on him today, and don’t forget that the snow also makes the flowers grow.
"O Jesus Christ, truly I am Your servant; ...You have loosed my bonds. I will offer to You the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of Jesus Christ." Psalm 116

The Stack is a potential. It is a conversation waiting to happen. It is a package delivered to be opened.
But the Stack is also just a concept. You will have many stacks. Every stack is a node in a much greater framework, a larger conversation you are having with yourself. This is true not only of notecards, but of digitized storage, your pantry closet and your art-style decisions.
The Stack is a storage of your spirit, a thing you did, a response of your soul to previous psychological pressures.
But where are you now? You are here, not there. Yet these crumbs, this trail of memories, that which you’ve noted, a pile to others, is the Stack to you. The question is not, “Can this happen?” The question is, “Will you leverage it for your own good, or are you going to just keep watching the world scream by?”

Modern Christianity is hoping that others will convert to a religion which we ourselves barley know and hardly practice.
Religious identity has been relegated to a branding battle, with little more skin in the game than following the local sports team during the playoffs. In fact, most people are significantly more religious about their fandom than about their souls. Worse, most people these days outsource their inner life entirely.

It was hard for Earth not to smile at himself. He hadn’t quite realized that he knew such a thing, but now that it was out in the open it seemed so obviously a part of his question.
“Our King is wiser than you know,” the hermit continued. His missive bore no proud demand, nor cowardly plea. Just three clear words, spoken by his apostle, and not a jot more.
“Do you think you can name them?”
“Oblivion and peace,” Earth answered.
“You do see.” The hermit did not smile, but he stood up taller to peer down at Earth anew.
