This morning, during my prayers, my ongoing intellectual battle against Gnosticism dropped off this little tidbit to wake me up:
Knowing something does not mean having it, owning it, or understanding it.
A parrot knows. A man reigns.
But not by knowledge.
By trust.
Christianity is founded on trust in one man who will never fail you. Pray the blessing of Isaiah 61 on your life today.
