Today’s Almost Dailies 11/1
As are all saints, you are founded in Jesus Christ.
“That which is crooked cannot be made straight.” Pr.1:15
Does that sound like bad news to you?
The agony of life is not hard to find. We are good at burying it beneath a pile of smorgasbord. But we all know the ickor of the taint. We all know the bitterness of the next moment, the next morning or the next murmur.
The crooked are everywhere, taking what is not theirs, breaking where they ought not, refusing to believe what is so freely given.
Is this a reason for despair?
Are you crooked too?
No. You are more than a conqueror through the precious name of Jesus Christ, and for just such a time as this God purposed you for eternity.
You are not crooked, no matter when your body prove frail, no matter how your heart beat froward, no matter that your souls longs so deeply without quenching.
You are founded. Your are upright. You are straightened by the hand of God. That is the fact of the name of Jesus Christ upon your lips.
“That which is crooked cannot be made straight”…. That which God has straightened…🌈
