What are You Looking for? (Updated 12/14/25)
Follow Him.
A man God raised.
A Lion in the field, a Heron whose watch is clean, a Fox whose vigilance is Tru.
Stand without retreat. Carry what is yours. Abandon no post except to charge the Enemy.
What Exactly Are You Subscribing To Here?
I commit to Teaching the Bible because it is True.
Saved returns my face to YouTube with no intention other than to return to my first Love, that of trusting the sufficiency of the Scriptures and speaking them boldly. There are many worthy causes, many fervent in the mission of Christ, an entire Body of witnesses out there forming up as the great Cloud called to stand against this age. If you join me as a paying subscriber, whether on Patreon, SubscribeStar or here via Substack, this is what you are making possible:
Stay Up to Date On X
Ex-Twitter is not everyone’s cup of tea, but you can get the weekly updates and teaching via podcast as well. I will try to include everything here on revfisk.com in the update post on Sundays.
Kingdom Capital
When you subscribe, you will get new posts in your mailbox every Tuesday and Friday. My goal is to walk with you, to continue speaking to Biblical Manhood and Integral Christian Witness in an era of dissociative decay and narrative inversion. That is, I’m going to call out the lies and witness to the Truth.
Kingdom Capital goes a step further, most Mondays putting in your hands a cooled off take on the last week in dishonest scales. The Bible does not talk about money as much as about any other topic for no reason: the Bible is clear that the way you coin your terms matters more than the paperclips you have in your wallet. Dishonest scales fall over, and a bribe destroys the conscience. Keeping an eye on the economy is about keeping an eye on your house, not as a matter of building bigger barns, but as a stewardship of the inheritance that is by faith alone.
Said another way: lies don’t stay put. They breed. Kingdom Capital is my side-offering of watching the stories about daily bread in order to remember where that bread is really buttered: the Hands of the Ascended King.
Kingdom Capital will not come to your inbox. You will need to check revfisk.com to see it. I experimented with putting it behind a paywall, but I’m done with that. Nothing I do here is meant to compel your support. Everything I do here is worthy of it.
We Reap What We Sow
I hope to sow some good stories. The recent changes in my life have shown me just how much I sacrificed in order to please others. More than anything, I gave of my love of fiction. Those of you who have been with me a long time have seen this old prayer poke its head up from time to time, from Earth, to Jonathan Collar, to the Crux, Edgar the Cabbage, Chapel and as yet the published Athanasius Audacity.
With a new lightness of heart, I return to these projects in earnest now. Earth is being re-released in serial as behind-the-scenes my compatriot Frisby the Hand sets to the task of type editing for Amazon release. Combing through multiple digital manuscripts is no small task, so this week’s Chapter 6 re-release is on pause while Christmas season heats up the demands on time. But make no mistake in your prayers: along with Teaching the Bible because it is true, I was born for this. Any future that sees my heart set free to chase the rainbow and not look back includes these stories meeting their termination in paperback somewhere on your shelf.
That is Enough for Me
You have my word: I will publish twice a week for you. I will teach the Preacher’s Four Year Lection on Saved for you. I will speak frankly and without fear on X for you. I will keep the economy in perspective under the Kingdom Capital for you. I will write my stories freely for you. And I will continue building the Hebron Collegium for you.
Will You Please Help Me?
We need your prayers. The trial before my house is Herculean. Spectacle will help no one. Engaging in slander will help no one. Making the private public will help no one.
But “The laborer is worthy of his wages.” Stepping back from local parish administration is an audacious horizon. Becoming a “worker-priest” is a trepidatious task. “The Lord commanded that those who proclaim the gospel should get their living by the gospel” and “I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread…. He is ever lending generously, and his children become a blessing.”
I cling to these promises and entrust myself to Him who judges justly.
The scoffers are going to scoff. Answering fools according their folly makes one like them. Far better to “trust in Jesus Christ, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness,” knowing that “whatever good anyone does, this he will receive back from the Lord, whether slave or free.”
