Attempts to define yourself by their shifting scales is to build your house on sand.
Their metrics are broken. Their names are made of fog. Their balance tilts with every breath of hunger.
But you were not made for such magisterially broken mirrors. You are not their labels. You are not their diagnoses. You are not their trends, their likes, their systems, or their shame.
You are born again of the Living Word.
And He does not stutter.
The Creator Defines.
Jesus coins truth, not mammon.
Jesus breathes life, not algorithm.
Jesus sees you before you see yourself—and still He says,
“Mine. You are mine.”
Let the world market confusion. Let Babylon brand identity like cattle. Let the namers without names play their pixel games. But you—
You stand on rock.
You are not your wounds.
You are not your worst day.
You are not your generational sins,
Nor the shadows the embittered spirits project on your soul.
You are what God has said.
“My workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus for good works.”
(Ephesians 2:10)“You are a chosen generation,
a royal priesthood,
a holy nation.”
(1 Peter 2:9)“You are a new creation.
The old is gone.
The new has come.”
(2 Corinthians 5:17)
Not by works.
Not by grit.
By His mercy—
etched in blood,
sealed in resurrection,
spoken from the throne that does not shake.
You were not made for the mob. You are crafted as the Kingdom.
Stand bold against false scripts. Reject auditions for staged ignorance. The blind are not watching you, anyway.
Son.
Daughter.
Soldier, saint, heir.
Called.
Beloved.
Image(ined) of the Living God.
God is true—
though every other man a liar.
I often consider that if I was both created , and then redeemed again,… who am I to say that “ I’m my own”?
That would be nonsense.
Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. All thanks be to God. God's peace be with you. Amen.
