More from the same match. Peter was the most technical I faced. I respect this guys game big time.

Ron is a construction worker from Chicago. Tough as nails. I got him on the take down, established control, and then went for a sloppy arm bar, losing position with 330 remaining. I held on for the win in guard but Ron was a beast and gave no quarter.

But as I realized I was passing out, I tapped to obvious fact that Patrico needed it more than me that day.
I went home with silver, and, at last, rights to a new colored belt. Jesus willing, I’ll only don white one more time, and that this Tuesday.
