1. It feels like we’ve been through a war.
Not a battle of bullets, but one of wounds, divisions, and denials. A war of culture, expectation, identity—fought in silence, in broken friendships, in words left unsaid. Some of us walked away, others were dragged, and many just stopped caring.
2. “Whatever. Like, I don’t even know, man.”
Disillusionment set in long ago. Gen X isn’t coming to save you. The ones who saw the system breaking early? They checked out. The ones who warned? They were mocked. And now, as the walls collapse, the realization dawns: nobody is coming to fix this. The institutions won’t, the leaders won’t, the nostalgia won’t.
But maybe that’s freedom. Maybe it means we stop waiting.
3. Getting a win.
Not a revolution. Not a spectacle. Just putting things to rest—taking what’s been broken, burying what can’t be saved, and standing up to live again.
Live your life with God behind you. Not chasing ghosts. Not looking over your shoulder. Not carrying the weight of every loss. Just walking forward, with the One who never left.
This war is over. The next Battel arises. Today is ever His gift of you to you for all.
