I Remembered that I like Calculus
My whole life, I’ve been chasing something I didn’t even know I was looking for. It was Jesus Christ—but I had already found Him. So what does that mean? That’s a long answer. But it starts like this:
For me, it meant reconciling my mind and my heart—or what the godless call Science and Faith. I didn’t need this reconciliation from the Bible; I needed it from science. Not answers about what the Bible says, but answers about why science so often fails to answer what the Bible has already spoken plainly. That journey led me through a season of deep personal growth, and if you’ve followed my work—my shows, my writing, my speaking—you’ve seen it unfold.
But make no mistake: this has never been about fame, money, or fortune. It has never been about scratching itching ears. It has always been about a simple, personal quest for truth—truth according to the Scriptures of Jesus Christ. As a man of God, baptized in infancy and ordained a preacher in the Lutheran tradition, that is still what it’s about for me.
I am born again to a living hope, and it is only, after all, what Dr. Luther’s Small Catechism has said all along.
The mercies of Christ earned well at the cross are new every instant. So, right now, I want to praise Him as I thank you for how you continue through your prayers, your encouragement, and the dominion of the dollar to make real sacrifices in confession that that Caesar is not Lord, that the God we trust in is not made of paper but of flesh and blood, and that that blood, written in wood by iron, is now given as bread and wine to write with fire His Spirit upon our hearts.
So if my outputs here go quiet for a few weeks, or more irregular than the daily production that would take a team to maintain, and that means some of you will no longer be able to support or subscribe, I completely understand. I say this not because I expect it to happen to most, but because I don’t want you to feel taken for granted or left in the dark. I want to unhinge us from debt counted in dead cents and open our souls to the freedom to make friends for heavenly dwellings in the ways that each new day makes fit.
Those of you who send support to Rockford—for the Hebron Collegium, the Dark Shore Initiative, and for my family as we volunteer our lives and in many ways offer our home—you do so not to buy another podcast this week. You do it because you believe in all the podcasting, drawing, writing, speaking, traveling, and sharing that I have done, and continue to do. You are on this journey to Zion with me. You are bearing the cross beside me. You are not in my train, but holding up my arms as I shout once more into the mad voids of this modern, media-driven vacuum:
Christ is risen from the dead.
His cross is a tautology, harmonizing heaven and earth.
And we, His kingdom—though small and of little value in the eyes of many—are the common men and women for whom He not only died, but rose.
Lift high the cross, my friends. Watch your tongue. You are lords of this Babel. You will hear His voice. You will know where to go.
Here are last week’s real world outputs:
The end of the AI YouTube video got cut off. I will share more, but not on a demanding schedule. :D You’ll hear me talking soon enough.
There is so much more under the hood. But I want to release it in digestible chunks, both for me, and for those of you who are truly following me in my prayers….
I still need to watch your AI thing because I tried hopping in mid way and I had no idea what was happening. Should be fun when I finally get to it.
